Part 1

The purpose of this form is to allow residents,vistors, or victims of an incident that occurs with the jurisdiction of the Elizabeth Police Department to file police reports online.

If the incident is an emergency, crime in progress, or involves injury, do not submit online and dial 9-1-1. For incidents requiring officer response, dial non-emergency (908) 558-2000.

Before proceeding, be aware that filing a false police report is a crime and false reports will be prosecuted. This reporting system only supports limited incident categories listed below.

• Identity Theft
• Theft of a Bicycle
• Theft Under $1000
• Harassment (excluding domestic violence, weapon threats, bomb threats)
• Criminal Mischief
• Lost Property (excluding firearms/weapons)
• Follow-Up Report
• Insurance-Only Reports
• Fraud, Embezzlement, or Bad Checks
• Credit Card Theft
• Shoplifting Under $1000 (suspect unknown, no vehicle info)
• Simple Assault (non-domestic, known offender)
